Since 1993 the studio program has played an important role in enabling Berlin to become a world capital of artistic production.
The Berlin studio program offers funded, i.e. affordable, artist’s studios throughout Berlin. It is aimed at artists who live and work in Berlin. This program was for the approximately 1,200 artists who could use the studios a requirement for their artistic work.
